Every #cloud has a silver lining. Today's London #tubestrike 🚃 has opened up #bbcproms tickets 🎼

Sorry, this post wasn't about AWS, GCP, Azure, etc. 😆

Stock photo does suggest writing a multicloud conductor may not be a bad idea!

Why did I click on a Facebook post about the #TubeStrike ? Everyone is an expert there 😁 One of the papers calls to replace train drivers with automated trains, then in response some call to replace journalists with #AI

It's as if people have turned into little donald trumps. Or, maybe they have always been like that.

#EarlyStart due to #TubeStrike get to St Pancras and train I'm booked on has been cancelled. Thankfully able to go on earlier train. Just as well 🥱

Reading posts following the #TubeStrike #️⃣, looks like a few people have tried things for the first time and enjoyed them. Maybe these strikes are not such a bad thing?
Very proud of myself for going on a mission across central London after work earlier. I needed a postcard with Manet's "Bar at the Folies-Bergère" and The Courtauld wanted £6 for postage, so I decided to buy it in person. Thanks to #TubeStrike it was an hour's brisk march to the rhythm of Ukrainian ethnopop in my headphones. A bath with Japanese salts at home, my legs are not completely falling off and I may have burnt off some calories from the plum jam sandwiches I'd had for breakfast. Meow.
I mostly work from home. As someone said, all my stuff is there and I hate people 🙂 Today I actually went to the office to attend a meeting that got moved to tomorrow, and because of the #TubeStrike it was mostly tumbleweeds blowing across the floor. From all my team only one other person turned up and they said something that made me melt inside: I don't want you to be lonely so don't come tomorrow. It's the nicest thing anyone's said. I was too shy to tell them this so I'm telling you.
So. Went to Liverpool st. Couldn’t get in due to crowd. Walked to Moorgate. Got train to Farringdon. Waited 30mins. Some bastard set something on fire/tripped the alarm. Evac. Every motherfucker on a phone so they all walk into each other. Eventually escape. Walk to Waterloo because fuck you. Finally on train. Elapsed so far 1.5 hours. #tubestrike #commutehell
