A poet used to live here. Sato Tsurue lived on her own and wrote painfully about with her blind eye and arsenic pains. She walked the steep inclines of the valley trying to rally other that were poisoned by the arsenic mines and kilns. The effort it must have taken to walk those slopes with a weakened body while not getting much of a reception. It's a shame to see her house falling down, but the base looks sturdier than many homes that I've seen.
