Farmers are frustrated: An Exclusive Farm Bureau Poll - What with the #IranWar, rising #Fertilizer and #Diesel prices and #Tariffs the #agriculture sector is suffering. #Farmers are well into the planting season and fertilizer, if one can find a supply, is costing #farms more in up-front costs. It can cost $1,000/day in fuel to run an industrial farm tractor in the fields. #TrumpTariffs have raised the cost of farm equipment - and the ensuing #TradeWar has added unwelcome reductions in food commodity sales. 77% of US farmers voted for #Trump and identify as #Republicans. Recent polls show most will stick to their guns, in spite of their frustration. But there is some hope that at least some will swing blue, and that some will simply stay home.
