The SCOTUS decision on Trump v. Orr in the shadow docket will (presumably) come any day now. If the Trump administration gets their stay, the case will still be adjudicated by SCOTUS in the normal docket. But there will be significant hardship for trans people in the meantime. The government's case for a stay is extraordinarily weak. Is it too much to hope the stay will be denied?
