So, Trump has been digressing at length about the most deadly snakes in the world, in a recent press conference.

If he regurgitates lots of knowledge about a subject, that's probably because he has just been briefed on that exact subject by his cabinet for an unrelated purpose.

So, has he just been warned about possible poisoning attempts?

I don't think so. Instead, he may have been briefed about plans or potential methods to poison somebody, maybe by the CIA. The Pope? Zelensky? Or even political opponents?

Reminder of the easiest method to defeat an election rigging in a regime that is not yet too much fully repressive (US is still in this category (for now), contrary to e.g. Iran):

After the vote and after witnessing the publication of results that seem too much far off the expectations (based on the polls etc), then MAKE YOUR VOTES PUBLIC.

Then count all of the opposition (to the regime) votes, and show that they are far more than the official count.

(Do NOT do that in a country where making public your political alignment immediately endangers your life and that of your loved ones. Even though ICE murdered several persons, there aren't yet systematic political purges of the population in the US.)
