Saw Jesse Welles at the Troubadour last night, and got to meet him briefly after the show. Phone was at 1% so the picture is a bit blurry. Very genuine and nice guy... and I got to (kindly) bug him about releasing his full cover of "Ripple" by the Grateful Dead!

Took my parents too. I owe them some good music for all the music they introduced me to. (And my pardner of course 💚)

Seeing the sign in the third picture while going to see a singer who, among other topics, covers our techno-dystopia was one of those "real life is beyond parody" moments.
