Gorgeous! β€οΈ My first introduction to that area was back when CAA made physical #TripTiks mapping highway routes section-by-section in a handy coil binding.
I was coming up from the USA and had only a single page between me and my next planned stop, which normally meant about 200 miles worth of driving.
It was getting late -- almost sunset -- when I arrived in Sault Ste Marie and then the truth dawned on me: the friends I was meeting up with in #ThunderBay, located at the other end of that same map strip, had the very long and fractal-edged arc of #LakeSuperior still to go, at least another 7-8 hours of driving!
The #TransCanada #highway is quite narrow along there, blasted from shield rock. Not a whole lot of room to get around a #moose if one happened to step out, as per the many MANY warning signs! π±π±π±
'Twas a tense journey but I arrived safely, albeit far later than anticipated. β€οΈπ
