Today, the last photos with the Olympus Trip 35... I'm finishing with three photos in one day. Two recent "test" photos taken during theatre performances and one photo from the archive. I recently had this one printed in A2 format and I'm looking forward to an exhibition in our village. The on-stage photos were taken with the aperture set to 5.6 and the distance estimated, of course.

For those who are actually reading this, I mentioned earlier that I work as a stage manager and therefore occasionally take photographs on stage. Last week I took another photograph on stage with this little camera... Of course, it's not this photo, this one is from several years ago. But it does show that it is sometimes possible to take a good picture with it, even in very difficult conditions... (very little light)

Recently, we were walking in a place where I used to pass by a lot on my motorbike. And although I am someone who is very observant, I had never noticed this castle and farm with a tower before. Otherwise, I would certainly have stopped there in the past. But the lane is somewhat hidden among the trees, and I suspect that in summer you would quickly drive past it. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful little tower with a fascinating history, situated on top of a hill in the Flemish Ardennes.

It’s a very pleasant little #camera, and it had been quite a while since I last used it.

My daughter suddenly found a job in Antwerp, so we had to visit the city quickly and find a room for her. We managed it all ! And on that day, we walked through the entrance to Chinatown, a beautiful #archway with the central station in the background. Worth a click.

Usually I carry a half-frame camera with me, but during these dark grey days in Belgium I just don’t manage to fill those 72 frames quickly enough.

The container park or the museum?
Lately, I've been busy combining some of my photographic work with painting and framing. Now it will be on hold for a while because in just over an hour I will be admitted to hospital for shoulder surgery. It will probably be fine, but it does mean that I will only be able to use one hand for quite some time. So taking photographs or painting and making frames will be impossible for a while. I will check whether I can take photographs with my smallest camera using my left hand...

So it was January 2026 and suddenly we had sun and snow on the same day. The #statue in Brussels is often photographed by tourists, but normally I don't think it's anything special. Now that the man had a pile of snow on his head and looked a bit sad, I thought it was worth taking a picture.
