Birba, il cane da tartufo che in Trifole recita se stesso

Ci sono prodotti del territorio che del territorio non sono semplicemente l'espressione, non ne sono solo ambasciatori. Ne rappresentano l'anima. Il tartufo, per le Langhe, è uno di quelli, assieme al Nebbiolo e alla Barbera. Attorno al tartufo si sviluppano attività, si celebrano i cicli delle stagioni, si consumano esistenze. Il tartufo come metafora della vita. C'è tutto questo in Trifole - Le radici dimeticate, il  fil di Gabriele Fabbro con Ydalie Turk, Umberto Orsini e Margherita Buy che sarà nelle sale dal 17 ottobre. Nel cast c'è anche Birba, il cane che nella narrazione ha un ruolo di trait d'union tra i personaggi principali. Birba non è un «attore», addestrato appositamente per il film. È un vero cane da tartufo, che vive nella vita reale il rapporto con il bosco e con i suoi preziosi frutti.
