The old stories tell of Mímisbrunnr, the Well of Wisdom, hidden beneath the roots of Yggdrasil. It is said that Odin himself plucked out an eye to drink from its waters, sacrificing sight for knowledge. But some whisper that when the moon rises behind tangled trees, its light reveals reflections from the well.
