But this interview is the closest I can imagine. Kendall's task is to defend the indefensible #Mandelson saga, and inevitably she fails. Badly. At times, #TrevorPhilips is visibly pulling his punches, showing mercy for the struggling minister.

Somewhere inside every politician there is a limit to how much shit they will eat for a leader. Labour MPs will be watching this, and drawing lines.
