Went out for a morning garden walk with my #Canon dSLR and found the cherries are ready for picking. Headed out now with a basket.

Not sure what variety they are, but they taste good, that's all that really matters. We didn't plant the tree, it was already here and usually only produces a few cherries. This year it is LOADED with them.

Just have to get them before the birds and squirrels munch them down.

Looks like there's some fruit set on the Harcot apricot, Brooks plum, and Comice pear. Not shown was the Bosc pear that has some too.

Grateful to be mostly offline this morning, attending the #NationalFruitShow, a useful trade fair for UK fruit growers, industry, producer organisations, researchers, etc. The fruit show element itself is a good chance to see the "best of" different apple and pear varieties (as well, of course, as the largest fruit competition!).
