Invasion Day 2026 ... nothing to celebrate about white supremacist colonial invasions. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land ... way past time for treaty and compensation from the thieving, genocidal coloniser. #TreatyNow #PayUpUK #auspol #InvasionDay #AIart
Here comes the dirty horse-trading between the two racist parties, the ALP & the LNP - massive irony given their historical & present white supremacism. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-01-18/status-of-hate-laws-uncertain-ahead-of-parliamentary-sitting/106242028 #ZionismIsWhiteSupremacy #AlwaysWasAlwaysWillBe #TreatyNow
Status of hate laws remains uncertain as politicians converge on Canberra

A special sitting to respond to the Bondi terror attack will begin in Canberra on Monday, but the government is no closer to landing changes to hate laws.

Event brief: "A Truth Telling & Treaty forum In conversation with Senator Lidia Thorpe, Uncle Gary Foley, Uncle Jim Everett and others.

This event aims to provide an opportunity to hear from First Nations Elders and leaders about where to go from here on First Nations Justice.

We will be discussing the importance of Truth Telling as the first step – looking at current developments, and what a national Truth Telling process would contribute. We will also discuss what genuine, inclusive Treaty processes would look like, from the grassroots to National & International levels.

Treaty must be for the people, by the people. It has to come from the ground up, and each of us have a role to play in making it happen."

A Truth Telling & Treaty forum In conversation with Senator Lidia Thorpe, Uncle Gary Foley, Uncle Jim Everett and other Elders.

We attended the Invasion Day Mourning Ceremony and welcome to Country this morning at Coburg Town hall. We heard stories of survival and resistance from Uncle Andrew Gardiner. We walked through the scented smoke from Manna gum leaves.

We walk with light paws on stolen land - sovereignty was never ceeded. 🐶🐶

“The survey found around 80 per cent of Australians believe the federal government should improve reconciliation and "undertake formal truth-telling processes".

“87 per cent of Yes voters think First Nations Australians should have a say in matters affecting them, which was hardly surprising, until researchers learned 76 per cent of No voters agreed.”

I know Australians are racist, #thevoice made that glaringly obvious but violence in any scenario is wrong. Being a bastard to someone for their colour or religion or height or weight or whatever is one thing but physically threatening is very very wrong. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-11-21/call-it-out-racism-report-first-nations-people/103130436?utm_source=abc_news_app&utm_medium=content_shared&utm_campaign=abc_news_app&utm_content=other

I watched You Can Go Now, this hilarious, fierce and brilliant documentary by world renowned, but unknown to white Australia, artist, Richard Bell. It’s directed by the much acclaimed, in every field she turns her attention to, Prof Larissa Behrendt.

An important watch for everyone living in a country that dispossessed its First Nations people.
