Something I started doing, but never finished, when I first wrote the integration between Traveller Map and Foundry, was a way to import world data directly into a Foundry journal.

I've revisited this feature, and I'm adding a way to create a journal entry with a click of a button. If only my own Deepnight campaign wasn't so far off the beaten track, this is something I'd make use of a lot.

Completed my Foreven and Neigbors map. Didn’t do the coreward sectors, we know that’s Zhodani space up there. Okay, Vargr coreward of the Spinward Marches, but that’s pretty far for a Foreven based game.

Also realized the bigger the map image I post, the fuzzier it becomes here. So here’s a link to the full resolution file on Google Drive.

I am satisfied enough with my Foreven Sector map that I made a notebook.

Not that I know when I’ll actually run a game in person with it.

For more precise resolution control I downloaded the SVG versions and used Inkscape to create 300 DPI images for printing. Courtesy of @travellermap poster maker.

Every time I think I’m done with my Foreven sector, I find something else to tweak.

Added alliance colors to trade routes. Added trade routes to neighboring sectors. Let me know if anything looks strange.

Feels like it’s done now. Is it? I’ll see if I can leave it alone for a few days. 😅

The K’Kree named their colony Three Hundred Jumps, so they would always remember the long journey to their new homes.

The Hivers named their colony Victory’s Debt, knowing that their separation from the Federation was a price they had to pay to bring peace and also save their new alien cousins.

Traveller5 Second Survey

I can’t really recommend this book in print. The maps are good, but the UWPs are very compact. There is a nice appendix that talks about the sources where each sector was originally published and developed.

Is it useful? A little.
Is it necessary? No.
Is it already outdated? Yes.
Would I recommend it? No.
Do I regret buying it? Absolutely not.
Do I love it? Yes.
