A Poem: "Tight Connection at BRU. "

As one really hustles
Through the airport in Brussels
There's no time to stop
In the duty-free shop.

Wish I'd had a plan for those
Self serve pianos
Or sprouts or a waffle
Would not have been awful.

But Air Canada's plane
Is calling my name
As this self-loading cargo's
Off to cheer on the Argos.

So it's now time to head
For sweet home YYZ.
Where I can chat with Cathy
Without telepathy.

The rhyme scheme's not AABA,
It is ABCB you see.

I cannot do another poem
I think it’s time that we went home.
From SCL to YYZ
And sleeping in my own big bed.
I’ll miss the rocking of the boat
which helps with sleeping while afloat.

Uruguay and Argentina,
Chile too and we have seen a
Lot of intersting sights
Cape Horn’s a bucket list delight.

Aboard Celebrity’s big ship.
