@verge That's a bad approach. Joveo Temperfect uses a 1-pint 3-wall stainless steel mug (no handle). Between outer 2 walls, a vacuum. Between inner 2 walls, a compound that melts to absorb heat when tea is poured in, putting tea at perfect temperature for drinking. Then, over hours, the compound gradually resolidifies, releasing heat to keep tea at drinking temperature.

Issue I had with #TravelMug / #ThermoMug "how to clean #tea stain" solved yesterday. Replacement for mug "broken by curriosity" arrived and while itself being dishwasher safe it's manual contained item advising
"To remove stubborn dirt, use dishwasher detergent/tab with warm water and allow to soak in. Then rinse with lots of water"
