“Do you not have any friends to go with?” is not a very friendly or kind thing to ask. But I have to admit, these kinds of comments towards solo-leisure, like dining, leisure, travel, etc is often directed at women - not men.

The world is my oyster to explore, taste and enjoy. But women… no, women have to be accompanied, apparently…:
