Other than that we'll have #ClimateJustice, #BlackHistory, #QueerFeminism, #anarchism, #RiotTraining, #solidarity, #degrowth, #PermaCulture, #ReduceRefuseRepair and a few others.
Didn't you always tell me school didn't teach you anything for real life? Well it's not like that anymore.

I want to protect children.
I want to provide them a save environment to thrive and talk about their troubles.
In a perfect school system kids would learn mental hygiene and get therapy before they learn integrals and the uncritical history of wars and power abuse. That would prevent so much domestic abuse, because it would be caught early.
And teaching kids emotional and social competence before teaching them applied capitalism will prevent abuse, division, exploitation and hate in the future.

I want to teach children to be happier than me, less abusive than my stepdad, more empathetic than my mom and more protective of future generations than my teachers were.

That's why I'm studying animal assisted pedagogy and will start studying social pedagogy, trauma pedagogy and environmental pedagogy this fall.

Book recommendation:
Colors without color
by my friend Anja Groller

The hedgehog Knut has days where he feels numb inside, can't feel anything, colors have no color and the sun doesn't radiate warmth.
Badger Kunibert wants to help his best friend get through those days, understand Knut better and wonders if it might be his fault somehow (it isn't).

The book helps kids understand loved ones that suffer from trauma sequelae.
A grownup should accompany the kid while reading the book.

"Farben ohne Farbe" is the German original title of the book, which I believe was translated in English, but might not have been released that way yet.

Anja is a social- and trauma pedagogue and trauma consultant and studies animal assisted intervention with me.
Her dog Balu is a therapy assistant dog.

I hope the book will help bring more empathy, love and understanding into this world. And color.
