She's legally married to a woman, and her worst feeling at the moment is »I feel myself just getting slightly more nervous about holding my wife’s hand or being affectionate in public«.

And being privileged like that, she's defending Rowling, and #transmisia, with a flowery call for »a bit of kindness, a bit of generosity of spirit, a willingness to get into the grey area to talk about these things calmly. To try and find common ground is the only path through this and it’s one that I’m committed to.«

I wonder what she'd think about this "approach" if she still had to fight for her right to marry a woman, seeing the years and her own life just pass by, and suffering from lack of solidarity that is masking behind talk about "grey areas".
