Jailed #transphobic teacher #EnochBurke has been told of resignations from a disciplinary appeal panel convened to hear his appeal against his 2003 dismissal from #WilsonsHospital School. As a result, the panel can no longer deal with Burke’s appeal, the letter stated.

I just quit my job.

That’s a simplification, actually. I told my job I’m not willing to work for them any more because they’re institutionally #transphobic, and what’s more they are going to keep paying me my salary until I find an employer with whom I am safe.

#Transphobic ex-teacher #EnochBurke has been arrested this morning, after trespassing for a third successive day at #WilsonsHospital school in County #Westmeath.

Burke will be taken to the #HighCourt in Dublin for a hearing before #MrJusticeCregan on whether he should be returned to prison.
