I mean, that's the least of their problems right now, but it does seem to be symptomatic of their wider issues.
I can recommend 2 alternatives: vidders.net is a privately run website that has been around for 10+ years. You create a free account and contact the administrator. It's whitelisted on #ArchiveOfOurOwn so you'll be able to embed your video and stream from there
The other alternative is the #InternetArchive. They too are whitelisted on #AO3 so you can embed and stream from there. Use the AO3 vid page as a central placeholder for all of your streaming sources
I would suggest you use both alternatives to maximize your streams
The final location is called CriticalCommons.org. You have to apply for an account, explaining your purpose, and when you upload your video write a short paragraph explaining it transformative nature. It's a site devoted to analyzing and discussing media culture
As a #vidder I used to have youtube block my videos all of the time. I found that I could get around some of the blocking with a vimeo account, but no more.
Two of my videos disappeared from Vimeo this week. Probably due to copyright issues, but I didn't get an email or anything. Just a link to a page that says SORRY THIS VIDEO DOES NOT EXIST.
Do you know how demoralizing that is? To feel that another Purge is on its way.

Printed #fanfiction is not "illegal". It is called #fanzines & has been around for 50 years. All #TransformativeWorks (#FanArt, #FanVids) rely on the #FairUse defense to #copyright. Commercial activity is only 1 of the 4 factors when deciding if an activity violates copyright. The fact that $ exchanged hands is not an automatic copyright violation. $ weighs heavily, but with printed fanfic, only a few copies made, maybe not
