One of the less than satisfying aspects of this platform, is that it caters for the quick read. It’s hard to generate an audience for long form fiction, or stories that are episodic. Anything over 2,000 words often means relegating oneself to the party faithful.

If the person has truly transitioned and is portrayed that way, it is not perpetuating the "trap" trope. To avoid confusion, that person should not be involved in fraud or other scams. Try to seduce or make sexual advances on the POV character, unless they have cleared the air.
Instead, this is a normalizing statement that says, "You never know who might be trans."
If it matters, I am trans, so that is one data point on the trans side. I do not speak for the community, however.

It's a little late in the day because I forgot all day because I'm sick... but It's still.... New Chapter Friday!
So. I’m using GitHub to track my writing because I publish directly to a website. At least one commit means I wrote at least 500 words. I try to commit after about every 500 words.
After three solid weeks my streak is going to break today because I’m too sick.
I ended up not being able to decide which one to release so I released two new chapters in my sci-fi political space opera! Happy Friday!

I do use a pseudonym for gender reasons.
Reason? It’s dangerous being trans, writing trans. It spares me casual doxing. (I'm am sure anyone who really wanted to track me down could. I’m not so careful about the bread crumbs I let drop.)
