Y no me dio tiempo a terminar «Lessons in Magic and Disaster», de Charlie Jane Anders; «Stories Are Weapons», de Annalee Newitz; «The Flowers I Deserve», de Tamara Jerée, y «Notes from a Regicide», de Isaac Fellman 🫠 Ahora tengo que leer unos libros por curro, así que... seguiremos con ellos a mediados de abril (?) La lista de lecturas que me había preparado para abril me mira mal 😂
No pude terminar unos cuantos que tenía empezados, como «Whispers Beneath the Orange Grove», de Yaffa As, que justo terminé ayer por la tarde. Es una colección de ensayos que nos insta a abandonar nuestro ego, unirnos en comunidad y apoyar a las personas más marginadas entre las marginadas, quienes abrirán el camino hacia una posible utopía.
Le autore habla sobre ciertas vivencias personales pero no profundiza en ellas, y eso me descolocó un poco. Pero es un texto potente.
I'm still reading my fourth #TransRightsReadathon book (Pretty by KB Brookins -- it's intense and can't be gulped down) so I've donated $40 to the Transgender Law Canter and $40 to a local organization that I've found helpful.
I haven't seen a whole lot of posts about the readathon this year, I hope people are talking about it other places.

My third #TransRightsReadathon book was The Left Hand of Dog, an excellent recommendation from @Knien . It's just the kind of audiobook I like -- lots of distinct voices, and all British as a plus. 😂 The story is good silly fun, full of geeky references -- Spock's brain, I about died! -- but also has a lot of humanity, as femme-agender-asexual-disabled Lem finds herself feeling home at last with the motliest crew of silly aliens imaginable.
I think it might have felt too twee for my tastes in print, but the audio really sells it. First in a series.
