Little bit of blood, but that was entirely understandable, as we did this whilst super tired... and it wasn't exactly our best injection ever 😅🩸🩹

This was the end of our last enanthate vial. We've got an unopened undecylate vial (in MCT oil) to move to next... which is definitely going to be "interested" (i.e., a bit tricky) in terms of ramping up to stable, even with loading doses.

Very little left in this enanthate vial now. Maybe enough for next week's injection, then we'll be switching to the uncharted territory of undecylate.

We caught a little bit of a bleed happening as we were pulling the needle out, so just pulled it out extra slowly and immediately wiped and covered it, so it had chance to clot a little before we put a plaster on 🩸🩹

Not surprised we had a bleed, as we've averaged just over 5 hours sleep nightly this week, so we're feeling permanently exhausted, plus low-level headachy and eyeachy. At least we managed it on the right day this week  

Nearly finished this enanthate vial now. It's our last enanthate vial from Voix Céleste, who've now shut down, so there are some feels about that.

But at least we've got one final VC vial ready to go. It's an undecylate one in MCT oil. We'd been meaning to switch to fortnightly (every 2 weeks) for a while, but it's taken us a while to finish the last enanthate one.

It'll really be the end of an era soon... in more ways than one

It should have been done sometime yesterday, but other stuff took priority. On the plus side, it was a simple, painless injection, despite our thumb-splint-wrist-supports reducing our hand dexterity in certain tasks (in exchange for support and strength in others).

Nearing the end of our final estradiol enanthate vial now. Really need to get a wiggle on about finding an ideal way to switch from weekly enanthate to fortnightly undecylate. It would really help if any of the simulators online were based on recent-ish data from trans+ fem folx across the world, and/or had a good option for crosstapering from one ester to another. (Technically estrannai.se does have the latter, but the simulation data seems wrong and the way it autoformats is pretty shite.)

Managed to do it early for once (!!!) about an hour ago or so without any major issues: just general tiredness, lack of focus, executive dysfunction etc. Must have picked a near-ideal site.

On a tangent, for reasons we won't go into right now, we're not sure whether we're going to keep doing these weekly injection posts any more, or at least for much longer. We know we've been doing them for a couple of years now, but... yeah...

Overly tired, overstimulated / overloaded, and struggling this evening, and doing the injection with 2 layers of hand supports (compression gloves and thumb splints), so it's little wonder it took us even longer to do and that our leg didn't want to let us pull the bleeping needle out! No blood when we finally managed it though, and no pain... though that may also be due to other meds we're on 😅

Why 6 mg instead of 5? Because we needed more estradiol for the coming week and fuck our gatekeeping NHS gender clinic 🖕

Didn't even feel the needle go in, or when we pushed down the syringe, or pulled it out. Did a triple check to make sure we'd actually injected. Teeniest dot of blood came out. Couldn't have asked for an easier or better injection 🩹

Felt it go in, but wouldn't describe it as pain really: more like a mild moment of pressure. Teensiest amount of blood leakage, but very easy injection, especially for a left leg 🩹
