Claudsch 💙💛The section #IlleSurTêt 🇫🇷 - #Villefranche - Vernet-les-Bains, part of the single-track standard gauge line connecting #Perpignan to the famous #TrainJaune, might be reopened for passenger transport on 24 January 2026 after 18 months (!) of closure.
In July 2024, a landslide caused the derailment of a TER train between Prades and Marquixanes and damaged a bridge. It took one year before the decision was made to repair the line.

Interrompu depuis juillet 2024 et le déraillement d'un train au niveau de la commune d'Eus (Pyrénées-Orientales), le trafic sur la ligne Perpignan - Villefranche-de-Conflent pourra reprendre le 24 janvier prochain indique la SNCF.
