I think Tiago Splitter should get a contract extension and be made the official head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers. He got that team into the playoffs after what happened to Chauncey, and despite injuries to key players. They won a must-win game, then won another, and then another. That team is like a family now.

I also like him because one of his go-to guys for advice is Popovich.

"Stuff happens," Splitter said. "I think we went through everything you can imagine. Of course it is going to be a tough game. Jordan Ott is a great coach. A lot of pressure. You just have to enjoy that, knowing it is going to be part of their lives now, playing these important games."
