Unlikeable protagonists are kind of my jam; so are dark teen comedies. So yeah, no surprise I dug this. My β˜…β˜…β˜…Β½ review of Tragedy Girls (2017) on Letterboxd: https://boxd.it/6D39yV #TragedyGirls #Horror #PrideMonth #Letterboxd
A β˜…β˜…β˜…Β½ review of Tragedy Girls (2017)

Film #9 of 2 Queer, 2 Fabulous: My Pride Month Movie Challenge To every generation, a dark teen comedy is born. The 1980s had Heathers; the 1990s has Jawbreakers. The β€˜00s gave us the gem that was Jennifer’s Body and we got extra lucky in the ’10s with both Thoroughbreds and Tragedy Girls. Even if you don’t love these films, you have to at least appreciate how unapologetic they are. They don’t give a fuck if you like their protagonists; they’re going to be who they are, and you can come along for the ride or piss off. Tragedy Girls

While (re)watching #TragedyGirls (2017) I noticed this poster on a wall in the background of a scene. Brings back memories of the days where G+ was popular enough to make it into films.
