To the hardcoded remapping of the eating corpses action into the recently freed '*' keypress, (since targeting got finally narrowed into either choosing the closest enemy available or enter an octo direction) then I remapped '+' to the new locking doors action. Thats correct, two brand new added actions: eating the fresh corpses ur foes leave and locking the doors. (Different from jamming them w/ a spike/sharp object)

Now you can fight back starvation by eating fresh corpses. Boy, this was a lonnng dreamed feature that I wanted to code in the variant since my journey began! Woohoo :D
comes with sutile differences for every race, obv, and that makes it even better xD not for the faint of the heart maybe, but for fainting stomaches!

Rogue on Steam does this thing where it can make everything 3D, and everything (monsters, scenery, all of it) is made from the letters and numbers. It's wild, and I'm hooked. 😂 Totally amazing to play on a Steam Deck.

#ZMAngband #traditionalroguelikes my brave Skaven Rogue fell. He defeated legendary enemies like the #Forvalaka from #BlackCompany 's lore among others. Finally took 2 orcs and an ogre priests of Chaos to make him bite the dust. One of the best runs I ever had in my variant or any *band at all. And it was #yasd bc I was too proud to get out of there.

II-15 is up for grabs. A bigger update is a-brewing but this one needed to be available bc some folks were have weird bugs crashing their runs. Targeting gets simpler /bugless.

Currently CL27! :O with two artifact swords that purr while cutting down my foes. On DL29, for the first time ever having such a run this awesome. Had a couple hard encounters with Uniques, but I'm going strong.
