
Patagonia said it would be willing to resolve a trademark lawsuit filed against drag queen Pattie Gonia if the performer stops selling merchandise under her drag name and agrees not to use the apparel company’s logo.

Reminds me of when #CocaCola tried to #trademark water or #Monsanto every seed on the planet. As long as plundering #nature & the #earth is seen as business as usual, it leaves the door open for other forms of #exploitation. Because that's the starting point of othering & believing we willed ourselves into being.

Anyway, being a sports fan (and having grown up among sports fans) I peeked at the website for the Enhanced Games. But the most interesting thing was this photo of US swimmer James Magnussen. He has Olympic rings tattooed on his torso. If he doesn't cover up when he competes, does the IOC have a chance at a trademark infringement lawsuit?
Not that IOC is always so great, but still...
