#Tradwives are not traditional, they are a recent invention, and very white.

Traditional societies had the production of goods centered in the home, women ran that, and had the appropriate level of respect in society for it. But all that changed with the industrial revolution.

The post-industrial white tradwife, that doesn’t have to work, is only a pale simulacra of a woman’s role, invented from nostalgia by a society that had already lost it.
