The “Großer Doppelkopf” (Great Double Head) is a striking work of art in public space and a landmark of Traben-Trarbach. The sandstone sculpture symbolizes the two districts of Traben and Trarbach. It is 6.60 meters high, weighs about 15 tons, and was created by sculptor Jürgen Waxweiler.
In the background on the mountain are the ruins of Grevenburg Castle.

Built in 1899, the bridge gate of Traben-Trarbach on the Moselle (Bernkastel-Wittlich district, Rhineland-Palatinate) is the landmark of the town with the double name. It stands on the Moselle bridge at the entrance to Trarbach (1). Through the bridge gate, you can see across the Moselle bridge towards the district of Traben (2). Seen from the Traben side, the gate is not quite as impressive. In the background on the hill are the ruins of Grevenburg Castle (3).
