Took out the TR-8S tonight and played with it a bit, just to chase off bad feelings. Every time I handle any of my Roland machines, I worry about hurting them.
I'd be terrible as a live musician.
Progress on SH-4D tracks, too. I really do want them to shine. I WILL have redemption for all this GAS from last year!
I have a Digitakt II but...I'm not sure I like Elektron's workflow. This thing is incredibly powerful, so maybe I'm just missing something?
For comparison, I am in love with my TR-8S. Hardware controls for every damn thing, sequencer is intuitive, but it's definitely a more limited machine than the Digitakt II.
Thoughts?
A few months ago, I sold my #Roland #TR8S, and all the features I missed are now on the brand-new Roland #TR1000 drum machine. What a beast!
