"Whenever you need me" - T'Pau
Shropshire's finest haven't advanced since their breakthrough album.
And that's a problem. Literate and verbose soft rock has a place - you don't climb to number 20 if you're not making good music - but this felt like the last hurrah from a scene hurtling towards the history books.
T'Pau, best known for their 80's hit "Heart And Soul," has released "Read My Lips" from the band's recent album, Be Wonderful.
This is such a catchy 2020's pop rock track, with a chorus that will get stuck in your head in a good way. I can also hear some summer vibes in its musical arrangement.
