🌍 CIEL was on the ground at #HRC60 because the #ClimateCrisis is a #HumanRights crisis. From sea level rise to #ToxicPlastics, #FossilFuels to corporate impunity—we worked to center frontline voices and demand rights-based #ClimateAction. 🧵👇
CIEL demands a strong Global #PlasticsTreaty rooted in #HumanRights: guaranteeing prevention, remediation, disaster response & compensation. We also applaud UN scrutiny of Samoa & Dominican Republic - & calling out corporations ditching reusables for #ToxicPlastics.
