I love this new video concept by the Townsends YouTube channel. Generally their videos are about food and lifestyle in 18th century America. This new series does a time travel what-if. What if you were transported back to 18th century America and asked to make a modern recipe with only the ingredients and tools available at the time. Their first was Beef Lo Mein for Thomas Jefferson. This one recreates a Sausage Egg McMuffin and McGriddle breakfast sandwiches. I'd honestly rather eat these versions than the ones at the store but I'd use modern cooking implements if I were to make it :). #history #FoodHistory #townsends #LivingHistory
