Kawagoe Kumano Shrine

Four deities are enshrined at this shrine, which was recommended from Kumano in Kishu by nenyo Buno, the second generation of Renkeiji Temple, in 1590.

The shrine building was reconstructed in 1713 by Nenyo Ryokan, and the torii gate was made of stone.
This torii still welcomes visitors today as "Ninotorii".
