Some time ago they proudly reported in the news that we have X kilometers of #bicycle lanes created during #COVID. (I can't remember the number, but it's supposed to be very* impressive.)
This is our reality.
Ah yes, people do take #selfies while riding. They really shouldn't, but they do.
Our #BikeLanes are more of a band-aid than a real solution. But it's still better than nothing. ๐

Indeed! And this #TourOfTheFireflies ride was a lot more pleasant than the #PedalForPeopleAndPlanet ride (which was way too stressful for me) I did last Sunday.
The ToF ran at a good chill pace and they had really organized and efficient Marshalls. ๐๐
I survived another #bike event. ๐๐ Though this time, I decided not to do the entire route. Because. Every time I join a group ride I come home suffering. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
But I still got a good workout out of it. Thank God for my #BikeBuddy. ๐๐
So now I'm home. Too tired to prepare a proper meal. So I'm waiting for the #food delivery. And as you can imagine, I'm very hungry. ๐
I'm joining another #bike event tomorrow. I better not be late for my early morning rendezvous with my #BikeBuddyForTheDay. ๐
I don't really know her, but she's kindly agreed to meet and ride with me to the starting point of the event (in another city far, far away). She's a serious #cyclist. Rides by herself all the way from #QuezonCity to #MallOfAsia.
