#WhatsMissing:

A #Tor #BridgeDB #bot on the   that allows people to query for a #TorBridge with fixed parameters ( #IPv4 or #IPv6, #RestrictedPorts 80 & 443 or not, Type vanilla / #obfs4 / #meek / #webtunnel or just a completely random #Bridge...)

Basically it would make the #Tor BridgeDB query and let the user solve the #Captcha, relays back their solution and once completed, it'll send people their bridges and instruct them how to delete the DM conversation.

@torproject

There are several issues I have with @torproject 's #BridgeDB:

For once, it's good and convenient but it's filtering options are half broken.

For example https://bridges.torproject.org/bridges/?transport=webtunnel&ipv6=yes will get me a #Webtunnel #TorBridge that has #IPv6, but setting ipv6=no or ipv4=yes doesn't work.

Nor can I add ports=80,443 or port=443&port=80 or similar.

So it would be really cool if one could just query stuff like that [OFC I'm not talking about the CAPTCA, that exist for reasons]...

@forthy Yeah, the trick is to not get caught...

Another option is to operate a private @torproject #TorBridge, which I did on occasion...

It's certainly not comfortable but gets the job done...

@enno Ich würde alternativ ne #TorBridge anbieten, weil die kann man "privat" stellen...

Falls Verstärkung gesucht wird bin ich zu haben...

@torproject It seems to be quite a similar problem as the user "NewBoard" had in this thread: https://tor.stackexchange.com/questions/23118/why-does-tor-metrics-show-my-bridge-offline-after-a-few-days
Is there anything I can do without restarting my bridge? 3/3

Why does Tor Metrics show my bridge offline after a few days?

I've been running a Tor Bridge for about a month now. Every day I check the system logs to ensure the bridge hasn't broken. I also check Tor Metrics to see the data on my bridge. Twice now, I have

Tor Stack Exchange
@torproject I have been running a #TorBridge for 10 months now. At the beginning I restarted it too often (after every kernel update) so that I didn't get many users. Finally, I decided to leave it alone for a while and only check bridge-stats and Metrics. Both showed me at the beginning of last December an explosion of users, especially from on central Asian country. I was happy but almost instantly Metrics showed me that my bridge was down (red dot on Metrics page) which it wasn't. 1/
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keys.gnupg.net:80 --recieve-keys 74A941BA219EC810 eingegeben. Resultat:
gpg: Empfangen vom Schlüsselserver fehlgeschlagen: No keyserver available
