I suppose that #Channel4 couldn't pull #TopGunMaverick from the schedule this evening, as it will have long since paid for the broadcast rights and so forth.
It's a movie about the U.S.A. military training for and performing a surprise missile strike on a foreign country.
Really not a good choice.
In the credits it thanks a long list of U.S.A. military people and places, and then says that it got tax breaks from #Canada. That's not going to sit well in 2026, either.
