El desarrollador Electric Black Sheep ha publicado una nueva actualización de Project Horizon, su shooter cenital de ciencia ficción para Amiga, confirmando que el juego se encuentra en su fase final de pruebas y que la versión completa estará disponible para descarga en los próximos días.
La actualización v2026.02.13 llega tras varios años de desarrollo marcados por avances intermitentes y dificultades imprevistas, sin que el equipo haya perdido de vista el objetivo de finalizar el proyecto. En esta fase se están realizando optimizaciones de código y correcciones de errores detectados durante las últimas pruebas.
Entre las mejoras introducidas se incluyen nuevos tipos de enemigos y elementos decorativos que amplían la variedad visual, así como una revisión gráfica de enemigos, escenarios, pantalla principal y pantallas de carga para lograr una mayor coherencia estética con el aspecto definitivo del juego. El título ofrece actualmente 13 niveles jugables y continúa afinando su equilibrio jugable.
También se ha incorporado un nuevo sistema de control que permite jugar utilizando ratón y joystick, ampliando las opciones de manejo. La secuencia de introducción ha sido re-renderizada para adaptarse al estilo visual actual y se ha añadido una secuencia final (outro), reforzando la presentación general del título.
Project Horizon es un shooter con desplazamiento en ocho direcciones ambientado en un entorno lunar alternativo, desarrollado para sistemas Amiga ECS y AGA. Esta actualización sitúa al proyecto en su etapa previa al lanzamiento definitivo, con el contenido completado y centrado ahora en las pruebas finales antes de su publicación.
