If Amazon sold physical books like e-books
Every book comes with a case that has a lock. The book is unlocked using their key each time you want to read. The lock can be easily broken with a hammer or just a rock. But doing so will land you in prison for 5 years, so nobody does that in public.
If somebody else breaks their book using your hammer, that's also your offense.
But Amazon can legally break the lock on your house and "remove" the book if they feel the need to do so.
He wasn't afraid of spiders as such, but they did make him feel uncomfortable somehow.
There was one in the corner that had built a web and from time to time he fed it small dead flies that he happened to find on the windowsill. He tried to be kind to all creatures, you see.
How did it repay him?
