I’m happy there is a Broadway, and fine that the Tonys give awards to stage productions, but could that be any less relevant as a television show to most Americans? The Oscars are BARELY relevant anymore.
I’m not saying don’t have the event, but I am suggesting it’s a little silly to televise it. I can’t even afford to see one of these shows, let alone enough to recognize anyone. What the hell are people watching?
