#Tomago ist die größte Aluminiumhütte #Australien|s und damit auch der größten #Energieverbraucher d. Landes (8 TWh p.a.).
Nächste Woche soll eine umfangreiche Ausschreibung für Wind- & Solarprojekte gestartet werden, um die Hütte mit Strom zu versorgen.
Das Spannende daran: Der Mehrheitseigentümer der Hütte (#RioTinto) hat erklärt, dass #Kernkraft nicht in Frage kommt, weil sie zu langsam und zu teuer ist.

@xvf17 Wow! Thank you. Whilst I am not new to #tomago, I am to #tomagoyaki. I got a rectangular pan to help. This looks like a fabulous recipe. I am using the mirin, saki, and seasoned vinegar to sweeten it, but I'll try once with sugar. I use garlic oil (from Trader Joe's), which adds umami. The next time will be with wakame, for sure!

#Japanese #breakfast, Including #tomago freshly rolled with mirin, seasoned vinegar, Sho Chiku Bai in the mix. There is grilled mackerel, ika salad, pickles, and fried tofu miso with wakame and rice sticks added.
