Australian workers at the Japanese gas company Inpex walked off the job this morning, and plan to strike again this evening.

I gem of a 7” find today!
A great song which, up until about 3 years ago, didn’t know was by Tom Robinson.
The band Pukka Orchestra did a pretty damn good cover of this song, and for the longest time, I thought it was THEIR song.
Nope.
Turned out it was originally written and recorded by Robinson, an artist I was very aware of due to Tom Robinson Band, and their absolute banger “Up Against The Wall” (a friggin killer song!).
However, I had never heard Tom’s 1982 album North By Northwest, which is where THIS fantastic song comes from.
Couple of fun B-sides here as well.

Take a look at the folk lounging on the scenery in the wide shot - surely that's David Jensen, Esq.
Tom's in his school uniform, and the pink triangle of homosexual men (the rainbow flag wouldn't be invented for a few months).
The keyboardist rocks in furry gloves but boring jeans are a little off-mode.
Almost perfect punk: sharp, punchy, leaves us wanting more.
