It's our last full day in Japan, and my chronic fatigue has caught up with me today whoops. I'd been having a great run the last couple of weeks so I guess it was due. Ah well, it looks like today is a day for resting in bed.
At least we got to visit #teamlab again, the Planets exhibition this time.
There are still a few more things I was hoping to buy before we leave, and many many places I wanted to see. But I'm happy with this trip and so glad I came. I love this place.
We had a good time at the #maidreamin maid cafe in #akihabara.
Kiddo asked for a performance of #SnowHalation and it was so so good. Kiddo know most of the choreo and lyrics too, so they were bopping along with the wonderful maid who performed it for us.
I had a turtle (kame) drawn on my omurice because I am a shameless nuisance.
Went to Shibuya and Harajuku (again) today.
Before yesterday morning, I didn't know that Punyus existed.
I now have, from Punyus: 3 dresses, a cardigan, a hoodie, a parachute jacket, a long skirt, and two pairs of socks.
I also want an overcoat but they didn't have any in the stores so I'll buy one online.
Shipped a box full of BL, doujinshi & merch back to Melbourne today. I have spent too much money this trip but I'm happy about it.
If anyone tells you that I spent another $100 at Animate today, they're lying.
I definitely didn't buy a stunningly gorgeous full-color art book of #STARember's #TGCF art, nope nope. Or two pretty #HuaLian keychains. Or chibi #WangXian bathing in teacups.
And I DEFINITELY didn't buy another 6 BL comics. In fact I said several times today that I wasn't allowed to buy any more BL, it wasn't going to happen, I already have way too much.

This amazing box set at #SakuraCoffee in Nagai last night, omg it was perfection.
The little square of chocolate was pure orgasmic bliss.
It was all so PRETTY.
I sat at the counter watching the baristas. They handwashed all the pretty cups and saucers. They had a collection and each customer got a different one.

At #teamlabs osaka last night...
The smaller ovoids were made of a hard plastic. When you pushed them gently, they rocked and chimed and changed colour. Their changes spread slowly to the other ovoids.
The larger ones were soft and inflatable. They changed colour when you rocked them, too, although not as many variations.
Pushing in between the inflatables & being gently buffeted = ❤️❤️

Aiee I am too tired after excessive walking yesterday and then a train confusion (on my part) that meant I didn't get back to the hotel until after midnight.
I am an old person and this counts as a wild night out for me.
Anyway my leggies hurt all over. So I have found a snug & quiet hipster cafe, I'm sitting alone upstairs on a comfy couch with a lemon soda, cheesecake, & the tamest of the BL comics I just bought.
These gays have KNITTING. I had to get them.

Of course I went on the tourist boat ride, are you kidding me. The main point of it seemed to be to wave to all the people along the banks and bridges, and have them wave back. It felt very silly and was thoroughly charming.
I would've gone on the ridiculous oval ferris wheel too, if it was open.

I've wandered into a host club area along the riverbank.
Most of the bars are closed at the moment, but I can imagine it would be a cool place to hang out in the evenings.
