Andy#NowListening to #BlowUp by the #SuzukiIsao Trio/Quartet. This is, I think, my favourite album from the #Impex #ThreeBlindMice boxset because perhaps swings the hardest.
I love the playing here & the record sounds about as good as anything I’ve heard: the natural attack of the piano, the timbre of the bass & cello, & the detail in the percussive snap of the drums.
This was mastered & cut at 45 by #TohruKotetsu who makes full use of that groove space.
