We tried To Do Ist but their Home Assistant implementation is abysmal so settled on this one, which seems to fit the bill

My notebook was full and had almost no new pages. I emptied it and put everything away for archiving. Also marked the categories I've been using over the last 6 months since I got this notebook.

The biggest category of notes was #todolist pages. That's normal. Right 😅

I was so hesitant to get this, but it's been very worth it.

keep forgetting to schedule appointments for stuff so reluctantly i will have to try using a todo list manager app again

really dont want to go back to todoist so im trying ticktick this time, just because of the wide variety of widgets they have

I use Dynalist, free subscription for basic (and largely enough) functionality. It is not Foss, but managed by a small Texan company. Uses their servers to synchronize between mobile and desktop. It has a really great outline feature to open subtasks etc.. The UI is really handy.
I used to use Workflowy, but it was expensive for the same service.

Can anyone recommend a fairly simple, privacy-respecting to-do list for Android, preferably available through F-droid, and preferably not needing a subscription? I see several apps in the "Task" section of F-Droid, but I don't know which apps are the most stable and usable.

I'm not trying to manage a house-building project: I just need to keep on top of everyday housekeeping tasks for a while.

My first proper Bullet Journal arrived and spent some of the evening setting it and transferring my mental inventory and work todos.

look at those adorable pens! they're so cute. take a bit to dry, though, which is a bit annoying. still, they're erasable.

Um dos meus milhares de defeitos é a desorganização... já tentei algumas técnicas de "organização" mas falhei miseravelmente em todas...

Isso não quer dizer que eu seja pouco produtivo! Apenas não sou produtivo nos moldes usuais!

Entretanto, hoje (06/02/2026) descobri um aplicativo de tarefas que aplica um tal método Yvi Lee (vídeo de 5 min explicando e contextualizando o mesmo).

A partir de amanhã, vou testar o método! Gostei da simplicidade do mesmo! É quase um hack mental de tão simplório!
