I thought I was zooming along on today's 14.0 km walk at 9:16 per, when I look down and was being passed by an armadillo. Kind of humbling. It (the walk) was a moderately light at 68% and 102 bpm.
The temp was 11.1C with 54% humidity.
Tomorrow is another day.
The wait is over. Yes, today's 14.3 km walk is in the books. It took 9:25 per km and generated lightly moderate 71% exercise rating (107 bpm). The last time it took 9:25 the bpm was only 99.
While waiting for that huge heat sink, or whatever it is called, it was 6.1C with 60% humidity.
Further updates as required (or as they happen, whether required or not).
Another day, another walk. Today's was 14.5 km, accomplished in about 9:24 per km. 98 bpm and a lightly light 65%. That's twice with the same speed and same effort. This is a tad unusual.
It was 13.9C with 62% humidity.
Carry on.
A warmish (18.3C) with lowish (78%) humidity for today's shortish14.2 km walk. It was a slowish 9:37 per km but a fastish 108 bpm making for a lightish moderate 72%.
Going slower, working harder. Not the ideal scenario.
Today's 14.3 km walk once again took 9:25 per km. Only 99 bpm, which translates to a lightly light 66%. At 16.7C with 75% humidity spring is definitely approaching. 16 in the spring is cool, but in the fall it is warm. Got that old radiant cool (or warm) working.
14.5 km. 9:24 per. 98 bpm. 65% (lightly light). 11.7C. 71% humidity.
Today's walk is dedicated to all of us who have been married for 33 years (or more) and counting. We rock.
And spring. Spring is good too.
Today's 14.7 km walk was a bit shorter. Of late my slow pace has lengthened the time to the point where joint pain starts seriously kicking in. So, cutting the distance to see what happens. Took 9:13 per km (still too long) and only 102 bpm (moderately light 68%).
6.1C and 67% humidity rounds out the info.
Sheesh, a couple flakes of snow during today's 15.1 km walk. it was 0.6C with 51% humidity, making for a slow 9:35 per km pace, generating a measly 100 bpm (moderately light 67%).
Ah, well.
