I used to hear this all the time on bumpy roads. Yes there was an adjustable bump stop, but there is basically zero vertical support provided by the latch, which was a more passive slam latch with a vertical pin. I’ll put together a fabrication video for our mods.

Finally the leafs are changing here in Los Angeles, while I think back to a particularly bountiful fall foliage scene from my past on Whidbey Island, Washington.
The tire's from an old Land Rover Discovery I used to offroad often and the rope is a static line from my climbing days.

This piece was a prompt I got right at the time Covid started in the US. And I was trying to be positive and light. The word prompt was "Isolation". So I made this, and turned it into a little poster print.
