Qualcosa però non ha funzionato nel copione da divo in ascesa e a beneficio di un solo obiettivo attento abbiamo un unico frame di quello che, con un termine un po' demodé, si può definire soltanto un capitombolo: testa in giù gambe all'aria sulla scalinata rossa del Dolby Theatre, con gli addetti alla sicurezza che cercano di accompagnare una caduta scomposta e imprevedibile che termina ai piedi dei fotografi troppo impegnati a immortalare l'arrivo delle star, per accorgersi del bel Timothée.
Il genio dell'attore in azione
Caduta spettacolare, fuori dal copione che non scoraggia il protagonista candidato a miglior attore per 'Marty Supreme'. E allora cos'è il genio? Un balzo in avanti, una rapida scrollata della polvere dal bel vestito bianco e il ritorno deciso sulla scalinata rossa, dritto alla meta. Senza più occhiali scuri, però. Ma non basta: per assecondare la citazione monicelliana avrebbe dovuto prendere lezioni di danza, e magari uscire dall’impaccio improvvisando un balletto. Così, tanto per rimangiarsi un'uscita infelice di qualche giorno avanti.

Spectacular fall, out of script, which doesn’t discourage the protagonist candidate for best actor in ‘Marty Supreme’. And so, what is genius? A leap forward, a quick dusting off of the beautiful white suit and a determined return to the red steps, straight to the goal. Without the dark glasses, though. But that’s not enough: to heed the Monicelli citation, he should have taken dance lessons, and perhaps gotten out of the awkwardness improvising a ballet. So, just to take back an unfortunate exit a few days earlier.
